PUBG Mobile is among the highest grossing mobile game in the mobile battle royale genre with over $205 million in gross revenue. The title is celebrating its 4th anniversary and has introduced a number of new features in the game for players. The developers have also announced the release date of the new Royale Arena Assault mode in PUBG Mobile.
Tencent has introduced many modes in PUBG Mobile for players to enjoy like the main Battle Royale mode, Classic mode, Team Deathmatch and more. With the 4th anniversary celebrations now coming to a close and many new features getting added in the 1.9 update. The developers are now trying to meet up the expectations of global players by introducing timely new collaborations, features and more.
Release Date Of Royale Arena Assault Mode
The recently introduced 1.9 patch update in PUBG Mobile introduced and kicked off the celebrations of the 4th anniversary. To commemorate the anniversary Tencent introduced the Vibrant Anniversary mode in the Erangel map. A new enlarged version of the social arena ‘Cheer Park‘ was also introduced. The new special themed bicycle specifically for the 4th anniversary was also introduced in the game.

Apart from the updates introduced in the 1.9 updates introduced by developers earlier. Tencent has also announced the release date of a new upcoming Royale Arena Assault mode. The new mode is set to release and made available in the game for players from April 7th 2022. Royale Arena Assault mode will be an unranked mode similar to the Team Deathmatch mode or arena training matches. The gameplay of the upcoming Royale Arena Assault mode will be similar to arena matches however, the map available will be completely distinct in nature. The map of the new mode is expected to be Erangel as the recent leaks only featured the Erangel map. Players will be spawned at random locations within a fixed zone on the map.
Developers are yet to reveal whether other maps like Sanhok, Livik or Miramar are available in this mode or not. Other than this players can also see the custom anniversary-themed airdrops on the battlefield. Players will compete in a head-on battle against 40 other players in this mode within the fixed time period.
How To Open Royale Arena Assault Mode In PUBG Mobile?
Those players who want to try out this new mode can follow the below given steps in order to access the new mode in PUBG Mobile:
1: First players need to open the PUBG Mobile app on their respective devices.
2: Now players can tap on the mode selection menu of the game.
3: Now select the Royale Arena Assault mode and begin the game in the new TDM map.
Tencent introduced this mode previously in the game as well. But later it was removed from the game after the bizarre response from players. It will be intriguing to see how things will turn out this time for this new mode.
