BGMI is the Indian version of the popular PUBG franchise introduced after the Government of India imposed bans on PUBG Mobile. After the conclusion of the latest BGMI LAN event, a new tournament is here as announced by the 8Bit co-owner Animesh ‘8BitThug’ Aggarwal. The new BGMI Thug Invitational tournament will boast a huge prize pool of 8 lakh INR. The new event will be held for over 9 days. As per the official releases, the event will begin tomorrow i.e. on May 9th and will conclude on May 25th, 2022. The Grand Finals of the huge BGMI tournament will be held between May 22nd and May 25th, 2022.

In the latest iteration of the Thug Invitational Season 5, there are 32 teams from across India that will participate and compete for the prize pool and the top spot. The tournament will take place in two stages, i.e. the League Stage, and Grand Finals. The 32 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 8 teams each. The league stage will begin tomorrow i.e. on May 9th, 2022 and will go on for 6 days. Only 16 teams will make it to the Grand Finals i.e. top 4 teams from each group. The invited teams are divided into groups of 8 teams and the groups are as follows:

The Grand Finals of BGMI Thug Invitation Season 5 will take place between May 22nd and May 25th, 2022. You can enjoy the streaming of the BGMI Thug Invitational Season 5 from tomorrow on 8Bit Thug’s YouTUbe channel and Loco’s streaming platform from 1:30 P.M IST.

As far as teams are concerned TSM is having a blast after winning the first-ever BGMI LAN event with a huge prize pool of 55 Lakh INR. The team will make sure to continue their dominance at BGMI Invitational as well. Whereas, Hyderabad Hydras, Revenant and Team XO are also showing some decent performance in the BGMI LAN event by securin 2nd, 3rd and 4th spots respectively.

Although last year’s BGMI Thug Invitational Season 4 champions Team Xspark is not showing the consistent performances like last time after veterans like Gill and Veeru left the team.

Despite having veterans like Gill GodLike Esports is also not showing promising performance in the past few tournaments. Whereas, Viru has joined the Enigma Gaming roster after leaving GodLike Esports.
