Gaijin Entertainment has introduced a new major update “Wind of Change” to its multiplayer game War Thunder in the game with many new features and updates. War Thunder has been introduced as a major tank-based game with a ton of variations and choices for players. The latest update has introduced the new tank killer airplane “Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II“.
War Thunder is among the most comprehensive MMO military game with aviation, armored vehicles, from the early 20th century. Not only tanks and airplanes from the 20th century but also modern units as well. The major update Wind of Change will introduce many new features like texture packs, new ground units, and airplane units.
Wind of Change Update Explained
The new update has introduced the new Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II also known as Tank Killer. It’ll come with its massive payload and its GAU-8/A Avenger to deliver 3,900 rounds per minute onto enemy tanks. The new update has introduced a new line of Israel ground forces including the long-awaited Israeli tanks. The list of items available in Israel closed beta test pack is as follows:

Other than this the new Israeli tech tree is now available as well to all players. More than this developers have added and updated more than 11 aircraft alongside the legendary A-10A Thunderbolt II. There are 8 new and updated helicopters including the new Swedish tech tree.
A new location for the combined battles is also available in the latest update the “Sun City“. The timer for switching the battle trophies with vehicles in the item store to the new ones has been added. The premium vehicles Sho’t Kal Dalet, Magach 3, and AH-64A Peten are now removed from sale at the in-game store.

Graphics Changes
With the new update, developers introduced a new variety in the visual effects of explosions, and a large shell hits effect has also been added. The new visual effect of dust, grass, and leaves being lifted when ground vehicles shoot has been added. A new effect of dust blown off ground vehicles when shooting has also been introduced.
The impulse from shots and explosions now will also affect nearby trees and vegetation. Now the shots fired will be more realistic and by impulse and leaves will blow off. The used visual effects used in locations have been improved and become more diverse. There are 3 new missions available in the game mode Helicopter PvE confrontation:
- Afghanistan
- Skyscrapers
- Vietnam
The mission is “Smolensk” is now transferred to the updated logic system. The mission size is now increased to 128×128 km. Daikin has also cleared that they are moving the missions from the old logic to the new logic engine. The list of missions available in the new logic engine is as follows:
