MASTER MOVIE SYNOPSIS

John Durairaj, a professor and a lover of alcohol, gets enrolled to teach at a juvenile facility, unknown to him. He presently clatters with a callous racketeer, WHO uses the kids as scapegoats for his crimes.

MASTER MOVIE REVIEW

Master is a 2hours 59minutes movie belonging to the genre of action movies. Since its date of release on the 14th of January, 2021 it has been rated ‘a must watch’ by 90% of its viewers. The movie has a 7.8 out of 10 rating. The plot is centred on two amazing actors Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, who met each other in a juvenile correctional facility. While Vijay (JD) who was a professor, an alcohol lover, a character developer, a loving and carefree being, and a believer was loved and seen dancing, singing crying and fighting while on the other hand Sethupathi was a criminal who due to his rough childhood became a brutal criminal, used other boys in the facilities to carry out his illegal activities in the facility. He played his role excellently by instilling a very strong sense of fear in the minds of the boys.

The two personalities performed their roles to the highest ranking and a fascinating part of the movie was the contrasting behaviour of both Vijay and Sethupathi. While one was an alcohol addict, the other wasn’t. While one was a freeman, the other was a criminal respectively.

 Lokesh Kanagaraj, who directed the movie, synced a perfect fearsome antagonist into a protagonist hero. The announcement of the title “Master “ was announced on the 31st of December, 2019 and expected date of release was 9th April, 2020 but was postponed due to the heat wave of the world health pandemic (COVID-19) in India. The movie received multiple opinions from its viewers after admiring Vijay’s portrayal and Sethupathi\’s brilliancy in the role he played. Viewers also commended the expertise shown by Lokesh’s. On another note, a few more criticized the length of the movie.

Master is the first Indian movie to occupy the front space of global box office at the time of its release. On a quest to put a stop to Vijay Sethupathi, Vijay works up to lock home with Sethupathi after an awful incident which is accompanied by a pumped-up showdown between them.  The personalities of the two actors helped in the energy and excitement that was felt in the movie. While both acts stole the movie spotlight, the final confrontation between the two characters had a couple of stirring moments making the movie very insightful and engaging to view.

Overall performance of Vijay Sethupathi is super and movie story is amazing.
